I am Anne Keeton, and I am running for Judge in the General Division of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
My husband Mark and I planted our family roots in Kettering, where we raised our two amazing boys, James and John. We care deeply about this community. And that is why I am running for judge.
Our courts matter, and who we have serving as a judge matters. Over the past twenty-three years as a trial lawyer, I have represented individuals, small family businesses, and national corporations in courts across Ohio. I have seen first-hand how important it is for us to have excellent judges, because judges directly impact people’s lives.
We need judges who will work hard to honor the serious business of the court, who uphold the Rule of Law, and who treat all people with dignity and respect. I am that candidate for Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
A Reputation for Excellence
Over my twenty-three years of service in the Montgomery County legal community, and having served as President of the Dayton Bar Association, I have earned a reputation for excellence. My colleagues will tell you that I work incredibly hard and do my absolute best for my clients, knowing my cases and the applicable law inside and out. They will also tell you that I’m passionate about the law and the Rule of Law. No one is above the law, and our judges must follow the law, and apply the law consistently, fairly, and impartially. And they will tell you I am fair and professional. In my experience trying cases and representing folks in the courtroom, I understand just how vulnerable people can feel when navigating the judicial system. It is important that the people who come before the court are treated with dignity and respect.
As Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge, I will work hard for you. I will apply the law consistently, fairly, and impartially. And, I will treat all people professionally, and with dignity and respect.
